The best woods makes the best tables

Every RoundBlocks butcher block or table has a story.  They begin as felled, native
Texas hardwood trees, personally selected on-site.  After much artistry, care and
attention, a butcher block table or Harvest table is created that will bring beauty and
functionality to its owner for many years to come.
Only the best cuts of wood are used
to create each gourmet table.
Mesquite, ash, oak, pecan are the
most commonly used and can be
combined in harvest tables for a
beautiful effect.
The wood slabs are cut on site

The resulting slabs of wood are air dried in
a kiln for approximately one month per inch
of thickness.
To create the round butcher block
tables, the planks are glued and
pressed before being cross-cut in
solid blocks.

Each round block is hand turned on
the artist's custom designed lathe.

Corner plates used on the Harvest
tables can be steel, copper, or brass.
